First time Steelheading for me. Ended up taking a niece and a nephew. Spent more time rigging than fishing.

Fished 8 miles out of Pendleton way past the "town" of Reith. The scenery was great it this little canyon with towering rust colored cliffs. The ice was piled 4 feet high along the banks. There was about 500' of fishable shoreline at this spot.

No fish but had a great time.
