Went down to the 115th hole for about 7 hours on Saturday. It was a slow morning but had good company throughout the day. Ran into FISHNROB and we tossed some lead together for about an hour. I hooked one in the morning but never got to see it. I expect it was a chum. Didn'tsee any steelhead today but heard of one native caught about dawn. Shortley after Rob left I spotted Kinghumter and his kids a little downstream. As soon as he showed up the fishing started to pick up for me. Had about 8 on total but only a few gave me a long fight. I appreciate the net job he did on about a 13.5lb chum. The rest of the fish including another chum gave me a fight but spit the hook when I tried to horse them in. Today was perfect. Not too cold and the water was clear and a bit low.... After kinghunter said he had to go, I turned around and he was still there. kinghunter had transformed into keyhunter... I hope you found them man. I looked after you left and didn't see them on the ground :)........ I need a winter steelhead strip that will actually produce.
