Apparently everyone that read my last report decided to hit the river today. What a gorgeous day. Ran into a fellow WALaker at the boat launch. Nice meeting you S.P. I took the boy out again today and he caught a 6lb Northern Pike Minnow. It broke his heart when I threw it back over the rail. I ran down to Tacoma Slough and when I arrived there was three boats in the mouth, so I turned around and headed back towards Cusick. I caught two 20 inchers at the mouth of Calispel slough and hooked a few more down by Everett Island. They bit very soft today and I didn't see any chasers. If you see brown murky water five to six feet deep....Fish it!
