We had a great day on the river. I and a few of my friends went out for a day of fishing to start the season off right. Fish were eating consistently for most of the day. Most tugs came while using skwalas and golden stones, and we were lucky enough to have a small dry fly hatch in the afternoon. Be sure to use gentle catch and release practices, as many of the fish are heading up river to spawn.
