Long day and few fish . 2 trout about 13-14 " ..and 3 whitefish ? not suckers but look similar with a chub style mouth..and yes there are some very,very large perch in this lake..you need to use big baits and fish deep..fish the outter edges of the big schools of the smaller perch ,the bigger ones run in groups of 3-5 . the big ones are eating the smelt .(3-4") deep trolled fake fish spoons or lures .
lindy or wedding band spin rigs in orange,yellow,red,blue,white,or paint your own ..I have black blades that work great at times.also have polk dots and other home made designs ..the lake is big ..very big..so always try a new spot every trip. they are in one place monday .and somewhere else tuesday ..see ya out there ...
