hey brian thanks for the report. i dont know the blue creek area at all, i have some time off next week and wanna hit. can you give me a tip on where to start lookin for fish? i would appreciate it thanks man.

this report is actually for barrier dam, it wasnt showing rivers for some reason. but anywhere from the blue creek boat launch down to the rapid below the creek mouth they are picking up steelhead, i have not been in a while but i suppose the fishing is fair. it seems the most activity is at the creek mouth itself, but you have to fish a really short fast drift

Right now the fish at bluecreek are just blowing through and not holding at all till the get to the dam it seems. Run is slowing down big time at bc. I have one or two more trips before Ill be waiting for the summer run.

why wait, the springers are in dude

Because the springers are in yeah but they are also mostly being caught by boat only. You can catch them out on the point of blue creek by the mouth but I dont combat fish like that. I dont like being around more then 2-4 other anglers at a time. Id rather fish areas that not many people are at. Finding spots on the river that are holding fish. The springers mostly are gonna be in the deeper section other side of the river. Not reachable from the bluecreek side. or even at the dam. You need to get to the other side or in a boat. They like the fast deep water. Not trying to discourage anyone from going down cause there is fish still there. Just not hot enough for me to head down there at the moment. Weve caught atleast one everytime we go down. I like to catch more then 1 fish at a time.
