My buddy Chris and I tried for some springers yesterday evening. The river was a bit high, but still fishable. We flogged water on the corner hole for about 2 1/2 hrs. Never had a take, but I suppose the fishing will improve with some warmer temps. Thankfully the hole is not too snaggy yet. I loath the thought of getting up early to fish the hole, but sacrifices must be made.
