Fantastic day on the sky caught two steelies and lost one by 8:15 this morning. All three fish put up great fights. There was an eagle sitting in a tree behind me and while the fish were jumping the bird would swoop down and try to grab the fish out of the air. Fortunately he missed. The steelies went airborne and tore line off the reel several times. Both fish were clipped hens.

You were putting on a clinic !!!! I was directly across the river from you watching looked like a good fight. You were the only one hitting I was there until 11 no more action. The funny thing is last time I went I was fishing in the same spot you were at I didn't have any luck. I'm still a steelhead virgin . How long was your leader ? Yarn Color ? Weight size ? Did you use scent ? Any tips ?

Very nice and to get a double when it's slow! I've yet to get a double. I've had my chances. One of these days!

@ snake & Jens - Thanks
@shane - Leader about 22", Weight - 3/4 oz., Yarn light pink, no scent, other than that no tips just a lucky bastard for once.
@shane & finginpooh & kzoo- I was pretty much doing the same thing just about any other guy who drift fishes at reiter nothing special, there were no other fish caught from my understanding and I was just lucky as I have said before "the sun shines on even a dogs ass sometimes" I dont think there is a cause to be rushing up to the sky just yet other than I've heard that they will be closing kings soon from every thing else I have seen and heard its pretty slow
