I did not see the Columbia river listed for Cowlitz county, but we were fishing about a mile downstream from the mouth of the Lewis river from the bank. We were using spin glows either 1/2 chartreuse and orange or chartreu se striped with pink. We also put a pink dyed coonstripe shrimp on the hook. We had probably had 12 bites, 3 fish to the bank, 2 keepers and a native we released.
