First time fishing the river. Had a great evening catching cutthroat trout. Largest was 14 inches the rest were 8 to 10 inches. Had one hit the fly and bolted out of the water, spitting the fly back to me. Had to laugh as it took him five seconds to complete the feat. Beautiful looking water. Fished for 2 hours from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Magic hour for rising fish was around 8:30pm.
