It has been a long time since I have fished the Touchet, but this was a very productive trip. Black rooster tail spinners thrown at the bank while we were walking down stream. We must have covered 4 miles of the river and caught a good number of smallmouth and also got some squaw fish out of the river system.

What part of the Touchet? Last two times I've fished it I've had a 75 and a 50 fish day (only a few hours each evening). That river is cramped with RB's! But I've never hooked a bass and wouldn't mind.

Along HWY 124 below the cut off to go to Lower Monumental Dam. The river is surrounded by private land so you have to stay in the river. Find an access point and start walking the river
