I went camping at the skoke between 8/9-8/16. I ddint fish the 9th but got up bright and early on the 10th it was a pretty slow day and hooked into 3 or 4 that day and landed zip. All week it was pretty slow but it warmed up on the 15th/16th. Next day hooked into 0. Followin the next day with the same result. I hooked nto a few more the next day. I had finally managed to land one-it went at 11.02 pounds. On the next day i hooked into 1 and managed to lose it. On the next day i was up at 5:00 a.m and had a fish on at 6:00 on a multi colored corkie, Hooked he got off. Next cast thru it out there BAM fish on fought him for a few minutes then he got tangled along a shelf and was gone. Rerigged my rod multi colored corkie black yarn BAM fish on managed to land this one-9 pounds even. My uncle got out there his first cast he hooked into his first king on the same set up i was usin and landed a 13 pound hatch. He hooked into 2 more but lost them one which was 20+. That was it for are action only to hook into a few more. Well i ended my quest for my first king.The quest for my first silver sha'll begin very soon...
