Ok so I know its late but better than never right I finally got the pix from the 4th of july . I fished the mouth of davis creek dead baiting some frozen smelt that a buddy gave me . We fished for a few hours dealing with massive amounts of airborn blood suckers and ants everywhere . Had one huge strike that sent my slip bobber under water like it was a rock but I missed it damn slack line . about a hour later after some drunk jackass decided to baja through the creek in a speed boat . I seen a pike swim to a weed patch halfway across the mouth so I casted and within 30 seconds of my bait hitting the water . I had this one on its not the biggest but it did fight like a champ all and all i was happy with the day .
