9/2/2010 7:08:00 AMI went down to my spot just south of the town of Snohomish with my daughter about 6:30pm. Watched the outgoing tide while she played in the sand for about 30 minutes. Saw nothing jump or roll, saw no boats. There are probably a few, but I think they just aren't in yet.

9/2/2010 4:42:00 PMI went out early and didn't see anything jump until I was almost to Snohomish. I saw two other boats, with one of them apparently catching some Coho. Also saw a seal which tended to dampen my enthusiasm for hooking a fish and trying to get it to the boat before the seal got it. Went out again today with the same results except I didn't see anybody catching. Seal seems to be hanging out in the same spot. Is it chasing Coho or spent Chinook?

9/4/2010 7:41:00 PMVery, very early. I didnt get a Silver last year until 9/8 in the salt. Last year I trolled the lower Sno with plugs and caught a few but that was the last week of Sept and into October.

9/5/2010 1:39:00 AMI talked to Fish and Game on the river Wednesday evening and they said there was a huge run of silvers that came up the river in a two hour window on Tuesday night because of the rain. Same for in the salt. However, I decided to fish the salt today instead of the river, and there was no action out there what so ever...still doesn't sound like I missed much in the river!
