9/23/2010 10:57:00 PMpro cure, red or orange. some just salt em up(non iodized), sorta dry em a bit. I had to hit 4 grocery stores before finding borax, finally found it at a safeway. internet search for recipes/directions.

9/24/2010 1:46:00 PMGreat job. I've been thinking about trolling the lower Sno too. I've trolled the salt 4 times in the last two weeks around the Shipwreck and Browns Bay and got two for four trips. Went out Wed, nada, didnt see a net.

9/25/2010 1:18:00 PMAwesome post! Getting excited to go out but the rain has delayed my trips. River looks muddy and fishing it is a waste of time. Hopefully, next week will bring the sun and clearer water. As for eggs, Borax, BROWN sugar and salt as suggested is how I cure mine with tremendous success on the Columbia for multiple species. Fish4food!
