OK.....I skunked the boss fishing for Coho on the Skagit on Thursday, so I had to give him the opportunity to get even on his home turf today.

Hit the river about 7 AM. I was told that it's high for this time of year, but it was clear, and looked great. Lots of takers. A shrimp pattern seemed to be most popular. the three of us probably C & R'd 20+ fish, most being in the 5 to 6 inch range, but at least 5 were 12 inches to 14 inches.

A perfect day on the river, and I even caught a few, even though I'm not a fly fisherman.

Nice C&R up there. Were you above Green Gables?

I'm not to familiar with the area, but I think Green Gables is on the South Fork. We put in close to Trafton on the N. Fork.
