Spent the day on the Skagit, below Rockport, above Concrete.
Tried everything: fast water, slow water, flys, lures (pink, green, silver, gold), deep water, shallow water, on the bottom, in the middle, on the top:
nothing. no bites of anything.
didnt see any carcasses, no splashing.
no pinks, silvers, coho, steelhead, dolleys, nothing.
so... it was a absolutely beautiful day on the river,
while not being bothered by hooking fish. :)

uh Pink salmon on a targeted fish speices? humpys run every other year! (odd year)

Actually humpies runever year, only they run in much smaller numbers on even years. There's a native Hoh indian that nets them regularly this year. and some guy on a forum hooked into one this year while drifting for coho.

That is correct there are pinks running every year but every other with big numbers. I saw some jumping in the snohomish today
