Fished the Yak 9/30 to 10/1 with my brother and his driftboat. We caught fish on and off with himon a 0 Mepps Brass Spinner, and me bouncing the bottom with a nymph under a bobber. We caught lots of small ones and a few respectable fish on the first day. Second day however, I was about to hang it up, we were anchored in a riffle with my brother snoozing, and I took out my 6 wt with a original sofa pillow (nothing like a stimulator) with a red tail, even, and was taking nice fish for about 45 minutes while they just ate this fly up.
