Daughter got into a few fat rainbows drifting cured egg clusters. OK, I got a few too... Too fun to pass up where the crowds weren't! It was fun. We also met up with Natetreat from WL.com but we had to go shortly after so I could get to work. He had a sweet lightweight setup for free drifting cured eggs. He was able to stick around longer. I avoided the swimming hole combat fishery but did see a couple salmon taken from there (mostly boot king type). And saw people letting the snagged fish go for the most part thankfully. Was messier than the last time I saw the area. Remember to clean up when we are done fishing! Mom taught us better than that, right?

Quadfather, you know what rod I caught my footballs on :-) Thanx for the help. If you want some eggs let me know... Too bad they didn't drop any salmon this go-round as that was what I was hopin' for. They'll get back to it eventually. Was kinda relaxing getting some time putting my little one on some trout and meeting up with nate. We had that little stretch of water all to ourselves once it got out that the salmon drops were done for awhile (that was the rumor- always rumors around there).

Yea quad, those trout were amazing fun! In all I caught 22 fish, the rest were C&R'd as the limit is five. Nobody touches them and they gorge themselves on salmon. The other guys at the river were calling me the Trout Master after knot left, his daughter was a pro at catching them. I caught one that was 17".
