Went to the wallace to do some fishing by the hatchery then went down river from there. I saw alot of chums comming up river. Hooked into some nasty looking ones, then proceeded to go up river from there beyond the hatchery I saw to asain guys fishing on my way up. I stood there and watched them hook into some nice looking steelheads. I got excited from seeing them hook up. I fish next to them and never even came close to hooking up. I was getting frustrated until one of them looked at me like he was feeling sorry for me and then showed me what they was using. I didn't have what they was using so they hook me up. You don't get that kind of treatment now a days most fisherman would just keep their secret. I finally hook up with what they showed me. The two gentlemen limited out on steelys. I was happy going home with one.

I left the same time they did and notice them leaving in a mercedes. Now thats some crazy fishermens. If I had a mercedes or anything like it I wouldn't dirty it up with fish.

I'd rather have a nice Mercedes that smelled like fish instead of my old truck smellin' like skunk! LOL It is very refreshing when another angler will let you in on the fun. Thanks for the report.

Today before work went to the Wallace hatchery side and up river from there to try my luck.. I went to the same spot that I hook up yesterday and man a lot of chums in the hole, saw a few silvers not the best of shape hook into a few chums as for silvers. Then heard some guy shouting Fish on down river kept screaming tica pole tica pole I was like WTF. I was laughing to myself pretty crazy what people will do/say. I watch him and saw him land a nice steel y. I had enough fishing since been there for couple hours and not even come close to one. Guess today must've not been my day maybe the fellas I met yesterday was my lucky charm? LOL.
