Fished the upper Newaukum towards Onalaske this morning to see if any silvers were in yet. Was throwing bobber and jig for about 15 minutes before bobber disappeared! Not a real big suprise it wasn't a silver but a large native steely. Fished, walked and biked another 6 hours almost to I-5 and landed 7 steelys all natives and 1 silver. Silver was caught by NVGC. All on bobber and jig with shrimp oil.
