Went to the Clarks Creek hole and fished from 1:00 till 5:15. Caught a chum hen first cast, but the guy who tried to net it didn't really know how to net a fish, and caught my sinker in the mesh. Snap, leader broke at the swivel. Snagged a few in the tail, and netted a few fish for the guys next to me, but couldn't get a legal hook-up. Then finally I landed a rather dark, but large buck hooked in the mouth. Kept it for the smoker. After that just a couple snags. At one slow point I threw a rainbow pattern spoon, and had a smaller fish (couldn't tell what it was,) take it and while dancing across the surface, spit it in the air. Left when it got real dark and rainy. My brother wants to go this Saturday, but don't if it will be very good. If any of you could help me with that, I'd appreciate it. Tight lines!
