WOW!!! Opening day at Lake McMurray was great! I got to the lake at about 5 AM. There was only two reasonable parking spaces available when I got there. I parked right behind the port-a-potty and started to put together my inflatable. I actually got into the lake at about 5:30 AM. I threw out a neon green fly nymph and got one in less than a minute. I switched to a black and brown wooly bugger and got another one bigger than the first. I lost about 4 on a Dick Nite tipped with a garden worm and a Luhr Jensen Super Duper (big hit). I caught my biggest one off of a Wedding Ring classic tipped with a garden worm. I used 1 blue Hot Wings flasher the whole time. I would have gotten my limit if I didn't miss a few. I left at about 9:40AM with three different sized rainbows.
