Fished the sammish river on a kayak with a fly rod. It was a great day started at marymoor and stoped at redhook. I was fishing with flies and a boober. within a couple min's of puting the kayak in the water i had my first fish on about 3" long. after that caught about 8 fish that were 10 to 16" long. about 6 of them were 10- 12" and the other two were 16". will bring camera next time and try to get some pics. should be going out tomorrow if I get work off. water was very merky. I had my flies set up so they would just be hiting the bottom every now and then. not many snags. It was about a 4 hour float and not many spots to get out of river to go to the bathroom. dont drink to much coffe before you try it out. I was very surprised first time fishing the SR but wont be the last.
