Went to the sammamish river this evening to see if I couldn't hit up the evening bite. I did anything but that. I wanted to go to a different spot because there was this jamaican person playing a bongo drum and singing the whole time, which was fairly loud. We wanted to go under a bridge to get out of the rain, and we didnt see any other bridges for a long ways. We got there and I started off with one of the orange and red fish creek spinner for around 25 minutes with no luck. Swithched to a black 1/16th oz black rooster tail with no luck. My mom used a joe flie. It is i spinner that looks like a fly that has a colorado blade on it, its like a fly and spinner at the same time (and yes all of the barbs were pinched down). A very dissapointing trip. I t seemed like one of those days where we could of dangled a nightcrawler in front of their face and they wouldnt have touched it though. We might head out tomorrow somewhere else. We are heading down to lake trapps to pick up our boat that was being worked on. I am no bass fisherman but I might be able to catch some rock bass. For now kepp those stringers full!

All the barbs were pinched down? Treble hook still? Hope you know it's single barbless hook . One thing you could try is a smaller rapala and change out the trebles with siwash hooks, them Cutts and Squawfish love them baby salmon heading out to the lake so you'll get some hard hits on it.
