Headed out to the Satsop at 4p.m. Water looks awesome...really clear and great depth. Fished from Schafer State Park and up river to the first bend. Caught a boat load of small cutts on a black and yellow Panther Martin....barbless....makes for a quick, clean release! Smallest I caught was the size of the smallest Rapala lure and biggest pushed 14 inches...fat belly, REALLY clean...took several pics and will post later.

All in all, it was nice to be back on the Satsop....one of my favorite rivers...really nice scenery and during the week, peaceful. Great evening...I kept none....I rarely do from there...the trout look way too nice.

Just an update with a picture....

Thanks for the report. Try clipping off those trebbles and switching to a single siwash for C&R trout fishing, its the way to go.
