All I can say is if your going to fish Reiter on the weekend right now, get there at the buttcrack of dawn, pick the best lookin spot you can find and don't move cuz the crowd is a comin. The water is high, the access is a 1/3 of what it normally is and everyone wants to be there. Above the creek its all (limited) bank, below it there's a little bank but after that come prepared to get in the water.
I went up Sunday morn. Fishing by 7:30 (a little late for me). Went to my favorite spot, but the rock I normaly stand on was about 20' out. Fished for an hour and a half decided to move as I, nor anyone I could see, was having any action. Once I left my spot it was over for me. Couldn't find a spot downstream and my spot was gone as soon as I moved. I won't go back up there until the river drops or I can get a weekday off. I've seen alot more people fishing this area in the past but with the limited access the pressure was to much. The highway side looked to be worse with the high water.
Not complaining though as I love being up there regardless. Just giving a report to the next guy as of what to excpect before driving 2+ hours to give it a go.
