Despite the negative fishing reports targeting the Little Deschutes River in Olympia, we are able to provide a more positive note. We started fishing around six at night at the far Western point of Pioneer Pard and up to 300m beyond, drift fishing in the deeper holes with stoneflies. As the sun set, we moved to dry flies and had slightly less success. Only one bow that was caught was a keeper but the total count was about 6 in a three hour period.
