Fished the river for the first time since they opened it up for the summer chinook run. I briefly had a fish on, alas it got off. There were plenty of fish rolling in the hole, but could not connect. I tried several different spoons and spinners, but hooked the fish on a glow corky and yarn. I will try again tomorrow,maybe a little earlier in the a.m.
