If you value your sanity dont go!

It is a zoo of people on the river. I got to my usual spot around 6am and there were atleast a 100 people standing on the gravel bar across the way. Fishin was pretty slow for the few hours i was on the river. No large waves of fish just small pockets here and there. The river is starting to drop also so i was able to downsize my weight which was nice. Managed to go 2 for 3 in about 2 hours.

My standard spot is not usually crowded but today it was awful. The main problem is the area i fish is not suited to alot of people. There is no good area to land fish and the current is very swift just off the bank which causes all kinda of problems when there are alot of people crowded in there. It was just a constant mess of tangles which made it impossible to fish so i called it quits early.

I took a drive up and down the river and it is a sight to see. There is a constant line of people running all the way up the river with atleast a thousand+ if not more people in a 5 mile stretch of river at 8 in the morning. Cant wait for the Green to open its busy but not nearly as bad as the Puke.
