Stopped at the puyallup to catch some pinks on the way home from the skoke and both these places are snagger central. I don't understand why people try to snag pinks on the puyallup THERE PINKS. I had a guy to my left trying to snag fish because he would set his hook about 5 or 6 times in 1 drift and people that are just dumb. Cause you figure when you reel up you would point your rod out so you don't hook the guy next to you but saw another guy point his rod basically straight at the guy next to him and luckily i told the guy about to be snagged to step back and the hook just missed him. Anyways pinks are not super thick but they is a good bunch of them in there just got to find the right color combination and put it in front of there face. Also i was catching more fish then the guys around me trying to snag fish, no scent just corkie and yarn. All my fish but 1 were IN the mouth and that 1 i snagged got hooked when i was reeling in when a guy casted over me and tangled with my line. Didn't take home a limit cause my dad is starting to complain that there is no room in our extra freezer but did take home 2 nice hens with sea lice still on them. Also in the time i was there watched 2 guys take a plunge into the water and filled their waders and 2-3 cars get towed and a bunch of parking tickets given.

That's the mighty salmon fisherman for ya lol! Gets worse every year, the nice thing is that they have there freezer full of slim bucket humpies before th e silvers show up.

that sucks but at the same time it would be pretty funny to see someone take the plunge. i went out on the river friday morning and snagged acouple. just C&R, but they were sure thick that morning.

The Game Wardens are patrolling the river more this year so hopefully they will weed out some of the snaggers. They are watching that issue close now.

There a lot of people out too that were new to fishing and came and asked what i was using. Most of the time i don't mind telling them and giviing them a setup but after 15-20 guys asking for setups i just started to only tell them the colors i was using becuase i am in college and money is something i don't have a lot of. A lot of them thought i was using scents too but i wasn't and so many asked that qeustion i started messin with them and telling them that i was using teriyaki sauce for the scent
