Finally got out after a 3 day vacation of not fishing D:
Got out at about 10 this morning, and was using my usual. 7 ft leader, 3/4 oz, and chartruese yarn. About my 15th cast, i hooked into a nice bright silver ! After a few minute battle, it got off. Never caught a silver so my blood was pumpin. About 5 casts later hooked into a nice king, it got off. About 30 minutes later of hit and miss i finally got one to the bank ! A nice 13 pound chromer, ive caughten chromer but this one is pretty good ! At the end of the day i went 4/8.
3 were REALLY bright kings, all had sea lice- approx; 8 pounds, 14 pounds,19 pounds- but were all in the gill plate so they wont back. I gotta bring the one home. I had to leave at 2 so I could go to football practice ! Man it was hard saying bye to all those fish. Well good luck and tight lines !
