I had an extra hour after work today. Went out for a while, and the guy next to me when I got there limits out in 15 minutes or so, then I have room to cast, and I start catching fish.

The first fish I get on, a boat ran over it while I was playing it. I lost the fish, and it toasted my line. I was very angry and let them know it.

Within the next 45 minutes I hooked ten, crackered seven and landed three fresh chrome hens. Sea lice all over them. It was fantastic. Almost as soon as I could mark my catch I had another fish on. Even the two novice fishermen that were crowding in on my spot and casting over my gear ended up hooking up with a lure that I sold them. Wife called, so I went home one fish shy of a limit. Meh. It was fun. I had one break me off. That's pretty darn feisty for a pink.

We were right on top of a school. I think that the hens came up late, all at once. I've been catching bucks until now.
