We managed to get to the river for a couple of hours to try our luck. We fished just below the airport bridge and noticed hundreds of Kokanee in the water for the spawn. I caught a small rainbow on a nymph. My dad was getting good action on drys. He landed a cut throat and a rainbow, then he hooked into something really nice that ran and snapped his line. I look forward to trying this place again when we have more time. It's a gorgeous place to fish.
