My 5th time out in a week. Have not had the best of luck so far and today was the worst yet, even though there are fish EVERYWHERE. Launched near the 522 bridge and headed upstream to a hole where I know fish to be. They were there, jumping and rolling about like crazy. Tried throwing Dick Nites at them in 4 different colors....pink/white, 50/50 brass/nickel, gold w/pink tip and chrome with green tip. Nothing, not even a bite. Switched up to jigs. Threw pink, then pink with a bright green head. Nothing. Tried corkies and yarn. Nothing. Fished from 4pm to sundown. Not a single bit although fish were everywhere and I saw people hooking into them. Probably one of my most frustrating days on the water and it pissed me off so badly that I don't plan on going back any time soon. I figure if I can't catch fish in these conditions, maybe I'm just not cut out for fishing. Anyone want to buy a 12" Jon boat?
