Try the bobber thing with a white/pink jig and use Shrimp anise and/or real shrimp. no greater than 12lbs test.
I have struggled to. they are on the move and the bit windows also appears to be in the morning and for about 40 minutes each night when they get real active.

I have fished the bank 5 times during the same window you have and only have two snagged and two mouth hoooked to show for it using peach corkies and white yarn.

Also, looks for calm pockets of water where you have visibility, then anchor above them and drift to them with small gear.

I've been there too. Fish rolling everywhere and nothing. Don't let it discourage you too much. Give it a day or two and head back out. Definitely don't sell your boat or you'll regret it later. Take a break from Pinks and head out to the lake for some Bass or Trout!

I was there fishing from shore with my buddy last night as well from 7 to sunset. Fish were jumping everywhere but not biting. Me and my buddy tried jigs, spoons, brass/nickle, yarn&corky. No one around us were catching anything either

I know everybody has their opinions on gear/technique etc. But with Pink fishing I would say just leave the boat at home,, forget the Dick Nites, corkies, etc. Simple rubber squid jigs, or a Pink Marabou jigged from Shore. If anyone is catching fish in your area... it will be you. Hang in there. ( I have a boat myself, but I see no reason to even launch it at the Snohomish, the bankies do just fine.)

Yeah Buddy I've been there,I'm sitting in my boat not catching a thing thinking Shoot I got $35k into the boat and another $3k in gear and not nothing happening even though the Lorwance is painting fish everywhere and have thrown everything but Dinomite in the tackle box at them and nothing BUT the guy in the hundered dollar row boat with the $ 19.95 rod and reel combo is KILLING them, you question what am I doing wrong, why did I buy this POS boat How much will I take it in the shorts when I sell this POS and who could I give all this other junk to? The some time down the road the ol lady starts Bitchin wanting me to do something I have no intention of doing Then fishing and not catching anything don't seem so bad and when I do manage to pull something in the boat it's a bonus.

I've noticed that slack tide really turns em off the bite - in fact last weekend I was on the Duwamish. Tide coming in - fish every other cast, tide went slack - nothing for a good 30 minutes or more but still seeing fish, as soon as the tide started going the other way it was fish on again.

Stevefisheng, you are right on my level and I can tell you feel my pain lol, accept that I haven't invested near as much as you. Here I am with multiple years of river fishing under my belt, a fancy-schmancy pole and a boat even and I'm getting completely outfished by the 9 year old and his grandma on the bank with K-Mart gear. Goes to show that gear isn't everything. I use the boat just to get some space away from the shoulder to shoulder bank fishing, but I do agree that there is good fishing to be had on the banks.

Oh, I forgot to mention I was scenting everything with shrimp gel. I did throw a pink and pink/white jig under a float with a piece of sandshrimp. No such luck. Even tried plunnking with shrimp and a pink spin-n-glow at the calm tail of a nice gravel bar where there was a hole with a lot of fish but to no avail. It's weird, but I feel like the Pinks aren't biting onto pink things like they have in the past. This year seems different, like they are smarting up or something.

Can anyone suggest any good Bass fishing lakes? I have tossed Senkos in Lake Joy out near Carnation before with decent luck.

i filled my catch record card in 1 week, like quadfather said, pink squid jigs, or maribou jigs..nothing else. i use a small jig though, 1/8th oz and actually i tend to catch most of my fish in slack tide using a very aggressive, but yet light jigging patern; 1st i let it sink to the bottom, or close to it then i lift the rod tip from 9:30 to about 10:15 about 2 times a second, so very, very quickly, but the jig is only a light lift of the rod, not a violent pull. i catch fish back to back like this, 3 days ago i limited in 25 minutes. i do notice that when the tide is going out, it is better to use heavier weighted jigheads, and a slower, but still light jigging pattern 1jps (jig per second)
