I tied some corkys last night so I could have 2 pieces of yarn in them. Today I decided to try them out, so I went out to the Skykomish. I got there at about 2 and set up 1 pole for the corkys and cast it out into a seam and let it site while I set up the other rod for casting Dick Nites. Before I could get the 2nd rig up I had a fish on. I have no idea what the weight is, but measured roughly 22". Not too bad for a first try at Pinks. I liked the fight and he tasted great, It was a great day to be out.

I was between Lewis Bridge and the Wallace River. I only caught the one, so take it for what it's worth. Anything after the first one is just for sport, I can only eat so much. I think it's probably quite a bit more active in the early morning just about anywhere. There were quite a few rolling but I'm the only person I saw catch anything in the 3 hours I was there.

great looking combo. be careful with that bottom yarn though because it can get stuck on the barb or end of the hook making it weedless or in this case, "fishless"
