Went out to Green River today after school to get some pinks. Came there when tide was super high, nothing jumping. People were pulling up pinks but we weren't...yet. My friend hooked one on a squid jig and landed it, I hooked one on a squid, came off. Few minutes later of not catching something I suddenly felt a hit, so I set the hook and reeled it in and nothing was pulling on it. When I pulled up my line I realized I had caught a Pacific Halibut!! Thats kind of random for a halibut in the green. No pics or vid of it. I landed one and lost 2 fish my friend landed 2 and lost 2. Lots of fish jumping and people from shore were catching lots!!!
