headed down to the river this morning, got there around 5:30am.
sat on the river and waited til there was some daylight. I have no idea why people blantlantly cast in total darkness. It wasn't even an hour before sunrise yet.
waiting patiently, sun started to peak through saw a fish roll and that was my que.
first cast bam. fish on!!, landed it, a 6lbs buck, started to have a decent sized hump on it.
after that the crowd started forming, I would say nearly half the people there were straight up snagging. Come on? who uses a corky and yarn and reels it in like a jerkbait?
one guy down river had 3 on the stringer. Fished for another hour, grabbed my limit and left before the circus came to town.
by far the one of the slowest days I've had.
