To avoid the Saturday morning rush, we hit the snoho at rotary park at 3:00. Tide was coming in hard and high. We tried fishing by the float plane for 20 min, no jumpers so moved up river.
Got to the town of snohomish and theres where all the people and fish were. There were fish EVRYWHERE. Water was just plain boiling with slamon upriver of snohomish. We tried pink hoochie jigs, lil' corkie jigs, tiny dick nite, pink spoon. I got ONE BITE and spit the jig. The Father-in-law got a nice bright hen and THATS IT. 4 hrs of casting into swarms of fish and THATS IT.
Last two trips resulted in fast limits, what was the deal yesterday??? Bite was OFF.
There was 4-5 other boats in that same spot we were in, and only saw one other fish caught. There should have been fast limits for everyone. We would have been better off putting the net into the water and waiting for fish to jump into it.
Anyone have an explination??? I'm stumped. Maybe it was the Slack tide?? We fished right through it. I don't know.............
