I fished the Duwamish today with my buddy from 4:30-7:15pm. We launched at the 1st ave boat launch and started trolling right away with wiggle warts and got my first hit just before 16th ave bridge, but that didn't stick. 5 min later just after we crossed under the 16th ave bridge the silvers were jumping lake crazy all over the river and one almost jumped in my boat. I just about forgot about my pole while watching the fish jump when my pole starts bouncing, after a few min fight and a few barrel rolls the fish is in the net. My friend and I ended up fishing for another hour or two but with no hits but it was still a blast watching all of the silvers jump until we had to leave.

Nice silver ! If you dont mind me asking how can I get to the boat launch and can I take a fiberglass baot with a prop. motor in there with no prob. thanks Jacob!

Fishingboy - some of them were pinks but most of what i saw were silvers! Snake7676 you should have no problem with a fiberglass boat launching from the first ave boat launch just make sure the boat is licensed and registered or you could get a ticket. The launch is easy to get to. I get there by going north over the 1st ave bridge and taking the S. Michigan St exit. Take a right on East Marginal Way and then another right on S River St. the launch will be on your left side just about under the 1st ave bridge!
