On the warmest March day ever recorded in Seattle Area history, my fishing friend Bruce and I launched our bass boat onto Kitsap Lake to see if any of those ol' lily pad lunkers were prowling the shoreline looking for some food and checking out spawning sites. We had a few bumps and managed to put a 3 pounder in the boat. It was a nice chunky little 17 inch bass. We shot a couple photos and put the fish back to catch another day. A beautiful day on the lake!
