Rough day just north of the foot bridge at Oxbow. Fish were there, jumping and rolling all over the place on the out tide. Couldn't buy a bite. No one got a single fish while we were there. So we headed over to the Boeing Museum of Flight for a few hours waiting for the in-coming tide. Came back and fish were still jumping but not biting. Didn't see a single fish caught in 6 hours of fishing. Used everything in the tackle box from all colors of yarn to half a dozen Dick Nites and even plastic worms and hoochies to try to get a bite. They just were not interested. Weird day.

Ack. Wonder if the nets all week get them spooked. Maybe they'll settle in in a day or two. Oh wait, the nets go back out tomorrow :-0

Sometimes it's just like that. Did you have inline spinners in the tackle box to throw at them?

I used a spinner that was part of a hoochie rig for pinks. I didn't want to risk any $4.50 Blue Foxes because I was losing a lot of gear and unless they were showing some kind of interest it wasn't worth it. It maybe would have lasted me 5 casts.
