Today was a learning day for how to fish for salmon using pink squid jigs. I was able to pull 3 pinks out of the river but I had to work for it. Others around me seem to be pulling them (pinks) out of the water every 20 mins tops. They were using Blue Fox Super Vibrax Spinners in colors of silver, purple and pink. I am not able to find the purple online but will shop locally to find in the morning and head back out there before week's end. Right now I am trying to track the Coho from the fisheries in hopes of hunting and landing a few of those.
