The weather was good on Sat; the fishing wasn't. I decided to explore the Green. I stopped by all the spots that I have heard mention of on the site from Boeing up to the Auburn golf course. I fished Spoons all day or various colors. I spent quite a bit of time behind the home depot in Tukwila. I saw one guy fishing eggs that caught a nice coho. I fished under the bridge for an about an hour and caught one jack and threw it back. The most exciting part of the day came when a homeless guy snuck up behind me and yelled, "Fish!" and the disappeared into the brush. Random! I moved up river and explored all the old side roads that follow the river from Kent to Auburn. I stopped and fished at 212th in Kent. Nothin. Then about below the Auburn golf course. There were some guys flossing right under the foot bridge so I went a little downstream on an old bike/walking trail. I saw a few rise but they were really small. Maybe trout? Didn't see any silvers surface all day. Oh well, fun day but no keepers!

I stopped by the homedepot on sunday too. It was dead. I also hit the 212th bridge zone. I caught a few pinks but went 0/0 on the silvers.

Yeah, I am new to the game. You think the season is wrapping up or just slow?

Not over at all. The fish may get darker/more red but coho seem to hold their flesh together better than the pinks and chinook IMO. So there should still be some weeks left on the Duw/Green. Just need to get out and hope for success before the uglies show up in numbers (chum).

The duwamish has the nets out six days a week now. It's hit or miss finding the fish until they start to stack up and the tribes get their quota. But there is a good run and I have caught chrome fish when the chums are turning so we've got a ways yet.
