I fished the green again on Sat. looking for some Coho. It was a really slow morning for the first 2 hours. I was actually ready to call it. I had tried Dick Nites (which never work for me) jigs (my usual method), spinners and spoons. Nada to it all. So I walk back up for one last pass through my hole figured I would push 10 - 20 casts out there with a big fat wigglewart. First cast bang, super bright pink hen. Imagine that, I did not take a photo since the camera was in the car, but I was astonished to see such a bright fish this late in the run. 4 casts later bang big humped out pink buck. Again no photos and he was fugly. Hump, colored and hooked out with a vengence. Well I was stoked to at least not get skunked on my sat trip, so with a smile I figured I would push one last cast out around these logs. Tossed that plug out there let the current pull my line in a nice huge arch around the logs and then took her down. Half way through the retrieve bang, bright little coho hen. Almost as bright as one I caught earlier in the week. So was it a hot day, no not at all but I gave it a three star since all the action was packed into my last 15 minutes which always makes it seem better than it really was. Tight lines guys, and Losaturn I am still waiting for a lesson in how to use my dicks better.

Im the same way too sometimes when fishing is slow and I'm about to leave. 10-15 more casts and thats it. Its a good thing you did because your report would been a one and it went up to a three.

Yea the funny thing is that I was super stoked when I got home, acting like I just slayed it then when I thought back to how long I was on the river and how some of the other days have been I realized it was not actually all that great of a day, but still fish on is always a good day even if it ain't pickin up limits of monsters.

I have three sizes and three different colors I use for the most part. The standard, the wee and the magnum. On sat I was using a standard with a 2/0 siwash on the rear trailer. Then I tune it to run a tad to the side so it pulls against the bank I am working, not too much but just enough to make it a longer retrieve. Also sat I was running a purple/pink combo.
