well hit the river at daylight, rotary park and headed down to the 2 bridge and back, not a thing, it was outgoing tide so exspected that. got back to ramp and my buddy had to run home (lake stevens) and get the gas can.i motored up to the water drain dam thing and fished around, slow trolling and wam my rod goes out the rod holder, i lunge for it and miss so i have one foot still hanging on the back the 8 ft avon with a 3 hp outboard. i am in the water to my waste and trying to pull my self back up, the boat kept wanting to stand straight up from my weight, i finally got hold the motor and pulled my self back in, through this i managed to kick another rod in the drink. i am pissed and wet plus i had my waders on. yes i,m a dumb ass. lol motored back to the ramp and called my buddy who brought me some dry stuff to wear. got all the water out the boat and cleaned up the mess. just as my buddy showed up a few guys couldn,t get there out board started, me being a retired motorcyle, master tech along with PWC i go over to help them, take afew things apart and got it running and off they went to fish. we trolled almost all the way to the 9 bridge and saw a couple jumpers and metered some fish but 1,2,3 at a time. trolled back towards the ramp and shit out of gas again. dam. i guess my helping the guys get there motor running helped me, the carma came back and a local lake stevens guy hooked us up and towed as to the ramp. i really want to thank him a bunch as that would have been one long ass row back. on the flip side the one rod a lost was a cheapie, the other was a 300.00 graphite, when we were heading up river my buddy spotted my bobber and i pulled the good rod from the river, i was so happy> Thanks for all the help from the local river fishers and i will het it again next week.

Wow!...and I was just unhappy that I didn't get any hits....that sounds like a crazy day. Glad you got your gear back. Talk about injury to insult. Good luck next week.
