Too gorgeous of a day not to go back. Figured I would give the Stillaguamish one more try. This time I started out just up river of I-5. Weather was awesome, found a decent hole and met a few nice people, but just could not find the fish. Didn't look like anyone could.

By 4pm I decided to head down stream and stopped by the gravel bar near the railroad tracks. Figured if I'm not catching fish, I might as well have a nice view. I did see a few jump and hear one guy had one one, but that was it. I tried all I had: dicknites, corkies and spinners. Think I might have missed them. Bummed I never got my silver, but did see a few bald eagles, a gorgeous sunset and had a great day on the river regardless. Not too shabby for October!
