Despite my better judgement, I went to the Tilton on a weekend. I was hoping the rain would deter some people and it wouldn't be as crowded. As luck would have it I was somewhat right. The swimming hole looked crowded, but I don't fish there. The fish dump wasn't that bad, but I don't fish there either. I arrived at my favorite spot to find a buddy fishing there. I asked how things were, and he said pretty slow.
I settled in, and had a fish on, and lost, within 10 minutes. Things were pretty consistent after that. I ended up bringing in 3 silvers and a king, with many more fish lost. The silvers are starting to turn firetruck, but the meat is still great on the males from what I've seen.
