Headed to the skok on sat and wasnt really thinking that we would run into any spots where we would basically be alone. orignally we where gonna hit minter and we did but after fishing for 15 minutes and having unruly teens step right in front of us and then decide to use their 90 pound test halibut line and ocean rods and snag fish then get wrpped up in their own line like morons we decided to hop in my buddys little honda which by the way got us out there on 10 dollars then back and hes still driving to work a week later. we headed west to the skokomish. we didnt really know where we were going and it would be our first trip ever to the skok. after driving down the road that is now on every video site with chum now swimming across it we got to a hole at the entrace to purdy creek and dont worry we stayed below the birch tree that marks the no fishing line we threw purple large crappie creature like plastics at them but out of 5 hours of fish we only manage to hook 1 fish each legally in the mouth all others where returned to the river un harmed there almosty every fish landed was chrome or very bright only one or two where hook jawed and snaggly toothed. Man if they didnt have purdy creek closed that marshy area would have been a hoot on light fly gear or top waters hahahahahaha.
