Finally found the 115th hole I've read so much about. Got there around noon and saw lots of people fishing. Some plunking eggs, drifting jigs and most were throwing corkies. I saw a few fish get caught, mostly by one guy in the group up river from me casting across the river into the washout then letting their gear catch into the current. I couldn't quite reach over there from where I was and didn't want to crowd my way in. I plan on hitting it again on Friday since I took the day off. I like not having to leave my truck on the side of the road and walk away from it. I couldn't quite see what colors were working but I threw purple, green and pink corkies with neon green yarn and shrimp oil. 5' of leader with 1/2 ounce lead. I don't know yet what I'm supposed to be feeling when they hit....time will tell. I'm starting to think now that all the pinks I caught earlier in the season were just dumb luck. Either way, I'll give it another shot on Friday, tight lines!
